Frank And Kaye Wade

Earl Franklin Wade, 12/22/1943 – 09/20/2023

Frank was born in Laurel, Mississippi, but chose Texas to make a home and family. He was an active member of the James V. Callan Da-Lite Masonic Lodge Number 1422 and served as its Chaplain.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Franklin Wade; his sister, Linda Wade Brown; his mother, Maggie Coghlan Wade; and his father, Earl Wade.

He is survived by his kids: Peggy Wade, John (Josy) Wade, Chris (Gina) Reynolds, Shea (Mark) Reynolds Wilde, and Ami Reynolds Jones; his sister, Carol Wade Hammond; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a large, loving extended family and an untold number of friends.

Not survived by rude squirrels or bully birds.

Kerri Kaye Wade, 03/15/1949 – 09/20/2023

Kaye was born in Olney, Texas, and grew up in Abilene, Texas. She set a table like no other, and took great pride in feeding our bodies, our hearts and our souls. She made sure that her family knew they were loved.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Luella Taylor; her father, James Donnell; her sisters, Sherri Probst and Carola Phillips; her nephew, Travis Donnell; and her niece, Allyn Blas.

She is survived by her kids: Chris (Gina) Reynolds, Shea (Mark) Reynolds Wilde, Ami Reynolds Jones, Peggy Wade, and John (Josy) Wade; her sister, Lisa (Larry) Simmons; her brother, Earl (Brenda) Donnell; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a large, loving extended family and an untold number of friends.

Her favorite saying was “Do you have a blanket?”

Frank and Kaye met in 1987 and it was immediately clear that they were the loves of each other’s lives. They married in 2002 and beautifully blended two broken families into one.

Their memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 I-20 Frontage Rd, Willow Park, Texas 76087.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Elephant Sanctuary at www.elephants.com or to the Scottish Rite Hospital at www.scottishriteforchildren.org, in memory of Frank and Kaye Wade.
