Francisca Rivera, 95, of Weatherford, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2008, in a local nursing center. Mrs. Rivera was born April 15, 1912, in Mexico, to Fabriciano and Gregoria Garza. She was a resident of Parker County and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.
Mrs. Rivera was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rafael Rivera; son, Anderas Farias; and grandson, David Meza.
Survivors: daughter, Gloria Meza and husband, Eudoro of Weatherford; sons, Edelmiro Farias and wife, Ester of San Antonio, and Flavio Farias and wife, Gloria of San Antonio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
Rosary service will be at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, on Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Stephens Catholic Church, with interment at East Greenwood Cemetery.
