Foster Ky Wolfe

  Foster “Ky” Wolfe, 82, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009. Born February 12, 1926 in New Martinsville, West Virginia, he was the son of Ky and Sarah Wolfe.

  He was a WWII veteran, who was very proud and hard working. Ky liked bowling, playing golf, hunting, fishing, woodworking, and any sport you could think of. He was also an avid collector of Indian artifacts. If Ky couldn’t say something nice he wouldn’t say it at all. He was the best father a family could ask for and we will miss him forever. 

  Although his passing is a great loss to us and will take years to overcome, the example he set for our family will make us better for generations. We will miss you. 

  Ky is survived by son, Ricky Wolfe and wife, Becky; daughter, Cindy Lee; sister, Eleanor Bowers; grandchildren, Riley and Lori Wolfe and Ashley Hofacker.

  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at North Side Baptist Church, with Pastor Van Houser officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
