Fern Marie Flippin

  Fern Marie Jackson Flippin, age 78, of Weatherford, died Saturday, September 9, 2006, in Weatherford. Fern was an assistant Librarian at Weatherford Middle School and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Joe Simons and the late Clemmie (Allen) Simons. 

  She was preceded in death by a sister, Monette Wyatt and brothers, Coy Simons and Boyce Joe Simons. 

  She is survived by her husband, Gene Flippin; son, Grant Jackson of Aledo; four sisters, Wayne Harris of San Angelo, Doris Lippincott of Weatherford, Mourine Seigler of Henrietta, and Mary Whitsitt of Weatherford; one brother, Melvin Simons of Weatherford; and grandson, Trent Jackson.   

  Funeral Service will be at North Side Baptist Church, at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2006. Bro Van N. Houser officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
