Evelyn Frances Smith

  Evelyn Frances Smith, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born February 15, 1943 in Houston, Texas, to Cally Cleveland and Ada Mae Vannatta Stem. On April 8, 1960, Evelyn married Charles Vincent Smith. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving wife and mother, and a member of Southside Church of Christ, in Mineral Wells. 

  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Smith in 2018.

  Evelyn is survived by her children, Charles V. Smith, Jr. and wife, Inga, Sharon Carnley and husband, Robert, and Donna Smith; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her brother, Oran Stem.

  A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas 76086. A funeral ceremony celebrating Evelyn's life will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2021, at Southside Church of Christ, 1401 SE 25th Avenue, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067, with a graveside committal.
