Ernest Blake McCoy

Ernest Blake McCoy departed peacefully from this life Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at age 85. Ernest was born March 27, 1938, in Dublin, Texas to the late Paul McCoy and Lanette (Steele) McCoy.

Ernest was a loving father to Stephen McCoy, Jack McCoy, and Pam McCoy; doting grandfather to five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and brother to Paula Archa.

Ernest worked for Bell Helicopter for 36 years. He was active in the Dublin community and in different musical groups in Tolar, Texas. Ernest will be remembered as a talented musician; he could play any instrument and any type of music, but gospel and old country were his favorites.

A private Family Graveside will be held at Hanson Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas.
