Epifanio Ortiz, 40, of Weatherford, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at his home. He was born on January 26, 1968, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Severiono Hernandez and Estela Ortiz. Mr. Ortiz was a construction worker, a resident of Parker County and a member of the St. Stephens Catholic Church.
Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Ortiz of Weatherford; son, Eduardo Ortiz of Weatherford; daughter, Celest Ortiz of Weatherford; mother, Estela Ortiz of Weatherford; sisters, Yolanda Jaime of Weatherford, Blanca Diaz of Weatherford, Maria Ortiz of Weatherford, and Olga Ortiz of Weatherford; brothers, Alfredo Hernandez of Weatherford, Emeterio Ortiz of Weatherford, Raul Ortiz of Weatherford, Enrique Ortiz of Mexico, Carlos Ortiz of Mexico; and one grandchild.
Funeral service will be at St. Stephens Catholic Church, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Rosary service will be on Monday at 6:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
