Elwanda Fern Fleming

  Elwanda Fern Fleming, age 88, of Brock, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, in a local nursing facility. Born March 28, 1922, in Brock, where she had lived all her life. She was a homemaker, former owner of Brock Café and Store and a member of the Brock First Baptist Church. Mrs. Fleming loved cooking, baking and her family.  

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Fleming and son, Mark Fleming.

  Survivors: son, Gary Fleming; grandchildren, Garydon Fleming, Amy Klein and husband, Ken, and Paul Fleming and wife, Jodi; great grandchildren, Anna Sherman, Mattie Fleming, Garrett Fleming, Haygen Fleming, Tucker Fleming, and Hance Tandy; sisters, Patsy Cummings and husband, Bob, and Margaret Horn; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment in Brock Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, at the funeral home.
