Elvis Riley Burrus

Elvis Riley Burrus, age 21, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Elvis was born March 10, 2002, in Blue Springs, Missouri. He began a career in maintenance, where he was a hard worker and enjoyed working on many different projects.

Elvis will be remembered for his spontaneous spirit and loving nature. He married Nadia Hancock, with whom he loved slow dancing in the kitchen. Among his many interests were cooking, cheering on his favorite football team the Kansas City Chiefs, and playing with his dog and kitty. Elvis was adventurous and enjoyed being outdoors hiking or walking by the river.

Elvis is survived by his beloved wife, Nadia Burrus of Weatherford, Texas; parents, Brad and Michael Foster; and siblings, Spider Burrus, Knox Foster, and Asha Foster. Additional loving survivors include his father and mother-in-law, Brad Abbott and Angel Andresen, and sister-in-law, Audrey Abbott.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
