Elinor Elliott Ray

Elinor Elliott Ray, age 79, of Weatherford, died Monday, October 29, 2012  in a Fort Worth hospital.

Mrs. Ray was born May 20, 1933 in Nashville, ARK the daughter of the late Oscar G and the late Nita Besse (Dowdy) Powell.  She was a member of Dennis First Baptist Church and was known as a custom seamstress. She was employed by  as a Computer Programer. Preceded by Parents, sisters-Sheryl Johnson, Glycine Miller; brother, Norman Powell.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa Bellamy and husband, Joe of Lipan; Sons, David Ray and wife, Sheila of Waxahachie and Wade Ray and wife, Delanna of Azle; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Preceded by Parents, sisters, Sheryl Johnson and Glycine Miller and brother, Norman Powell.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Galbreaith
Pickard Funeral Chapel. The funeral will
be Friday at 10:00 AM at Dennis First Baptist Church with Danny
Shearman officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery.
