Edwin “Colonel” Ellis

  Edwin H. “Colonel” Ellis, 77, of Mineral Wells, passed away August 22, 2019. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 26, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  Edwin was born in Weatherford, Texas, to Earl and Mildred Ellis, on July 13, 1942. He went to Texas A & M Commerce in East Texas and worked as an auctioneer for most of his life.

  He is survived by his daughter, LaNette Chittenden and her husband, Robert of Clarksville, Tennessee; son, Lon Ellis and his wife, Karen of Mineral Wells, Texas; and son, Shannon Ellis of Rhome, Texas; three grandchildren, Parker, Kelsey, and Caleb; two brothers, Roland Ellis of Garner, Texas and Bobby Ellis of Weatherford, Texas.
