Edwin “Colonel” Ellis

Edwin H. “Colonel” Ellis, 77, of Mineral Wells passed away August 22, 2019. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 26, 2019, 10:00 AM, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Edwin was born in Weatherford, TX to Earl and Mildred Ellis on July 13, 1942. He went to Texas A & M Commerce in east Texas and worked as an auctioneer for most of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, LaNette Chittenden and her husband, Robert of Clarksville, TN; son Lon Ellis and his wife, Karen of Mineral Wells, TX; and son, Shannon Ellis of Rhome, TX; 3 grandchildren, Parker, Kelsey, and Caleb; two brothers, Roland Ellis of Garner, TX and Bobby Ellis of Weatherford, TX.
