Edward William Chapman

Edward William Chapman, 83, passed from this life Monday, June 1, 2020 at a local nursing center. Edward was born February 1, 1937 in Annetta, TX to Chandler and Gladys Withers Chapman. He was a rancher that raised cattle, sheep and emu, a bathroom fixture refinisher and a former meat cutter for Buddies Grocery Store. Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved woodworking; he was a master wood carver. Edward was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter Catherain Abbott in 2018. Edward is survived by his wife, Dolores Chapman of Weatherford; step-children, Teresa Edwards, of Weatherford, Kathy Stelter of Chalk Mountain and Charles Scoville of Clear Lake Shore as well as three step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday morning June 6, from 10-11am in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with graveside service following at 11:30 am in Annetta Cemetery.
