Edward Dante Parker

  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Dante Parker, age 61, who departed this world on Friday, July 12, 2024. He was born on July 6, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Joe F. Parker and to the late Betty (Wooten) Jones.

  Edward's life was adorned with passions for fishing, poker, and billiards, alongside his dedicated professional journey in the construction industry where he exemplified the essence of hard work. However, beyond his career and hobbies, Edward truly found joy in the company of his beloved family, cherishing precious moments with his grandchildren. 

  Edward leaves behind a legacy cherished by many. He is survived by his loving children, Teresa R. Parker (Mario Barco), Whitney D. Johnson (Cody Johnson), Lori Holcomb, and Amy Cortez; as well as his ten adored grandchildren, Brenden, KaRae, Mackenzie, Skyler, Kaden, Kaylee, AnnaBelle, Asher, Charlotte, and Ezra. He is also survived by his father, Joe F. Parker, and siblings, Darleta McElvany, James Parker, and Monty Parker. 

  A commemorative service to honor Edward's life will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., at the Outreach of Love Church located, 134 Otto Drive, in Weatherford, Texas 76087. 

  The funeral chapel is not involved in the service.
