Ed L. Graves, 69, of Weatherford, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 06, 2007 after a short illness. Ed was born at home on August 31, 1937 in Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth; and his youngest son, Gregg.
Ed was a Christian husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and an avid Bible scholar and teacher. He and his wife, Glenda, had been serving the Lord together over a span of almost fifty years.
Ed had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He was a man who was easy to love. It seemed so natural when you were drawn to him. In return for the love that he gave, he was loved and respected by many. That has been proven by the many expressions of concern and caring by family and friends throughout his illness. He worked for Radio Shack for most of his career and the last two years had enjoyed driving for Dan Dipert Travel and Tours.
Survivors: wife, Glenda; sons, Gary and wife, Debbie of Weatherford, and Grady of Houston; brother, Don and wife, Carolyn of Arlington; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a myriad of extended family and a multitude of good friends.
