Earnest Martinez

  Earnest Martinez, age 54, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2014. 

  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Pastor Pedro Alonso officiating and interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  Earnest was born December 21, 1959, to Antonio and Trinidad Martinez, in Muleshoe, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Weatherford and masonry.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Trinidad Martinez; brothers, Charles Natividad and Antonio, Jr., Carlos Martinez; and sister, Martha Hernandez.

  Survivors: wife, Stanja Martinez; son, Logan; sisters, Geneva Delgado and husband, Lupe, Martha Trevino and husband, Guadalupe, Susanna Martinez, and Hilda Arellano and husband, Adolfo; brothers, Joe Martinez and wife, Susie, Marshall Martinez and wife, Socorro, and Raymond Martinez and wife, Rosa; friends for life, Ruben Chavez, Juan Serna, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Service:  Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Interment:  East Greenwood Cemetery. 

 Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2014, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
