Drinda Janette Reynolds

  Drinda Janette Reynolds, age 78, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, February 23, 2026.

  Drinda was born on July 12, 1947, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to J. C. Henderson and Frances (Hiett) Henderson. She carried her love of community and competition throughout her life. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved basketball. In her formative years, Drinda was a talented basketball player, and her high school team was later inducted into the Millsap I.S.D. Hall of Fame - an achievement she treasured.

  Drinda was a native of Millsap and later moved to Mineral Wells after she married. She was self employed for many years with her late husband and worked part time as florist, using her creativity to bring beauty to countless occasions. She also attended Central United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells, where she valued her faith and the friendships that developed over the years.

  In addition to her parents, Drinda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Lee Reynolds, and her son-in-law, Patrick L. Laverenz.

  She is survived by her son, Clint Reynolds and wife, Tammy; her daughter, Tracy Laverenz; and her three grandchildren, Megan Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, and Reid Reynolds. She also leaves behind her three sisters, Lynn Walden and husband, Tommie, Jane Shulsen and husband, Ted, and Charla Henderson and partner, Kathy Jenkins.

  A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her life.

  Drinda will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas.
