Mr. Doyle Karg, born on December 16, 1973, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Weatherford, Texas. He was a dedicated police officer for thirty years, first for the Sansom Park Police Department and then for the Weatherford College Police Department, serving with dedication and integrity, embodying the principles of safety and service.
Doyle earned an associate's degree at Weatherford College, which laid the foundation for his commitment to law enforcement and community service. He was an active member of the Baker Baptist Church and South Main Church of Christ, where he found solace and fellowship among his community. Additionally, he was proud to be a member of the Knights of Pythias, where he enjoyed camaraderie and connection with his peers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle Hutcheson and Vernell Hutcheson; his father, David Karg, and his mother, Hazel (Blake) Karg, all of whom undoubtedly influenced the man he became.
Doyle is survived by his sister, Lina Bates; brother-in-law, Robert Bates; nieces and nephew, Hannah, Madelyn, and Dane Bryan; and many dear friends and coworkers who will remember him fondly for his kindness, good humor, and unwavering support.
A memorial service to celebrate Doyle's life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, located at 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
Doyle Karg's legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the community he served. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
