Dorthy Thompson Noe

  Dorthy Thompson Noe, 88, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Weatherford Regional Medical Center.

  Dorthy was born December 14, 1927, in Weatherford, Texas, to Clarence M. and Loree (Rater) Thompson. She and Paul E. Noe were married January 24, 1948, and together had three sons, Chuck, Paul, Jr., and Robin.  

  Dorothy was very proud of having returned to her education in 1958, ultimately earning her Master’s Degree in Elementary Special Education. Dorthy taught for 28 years in Parker and Tarrant County school systems.

  Dorthy enjoyed a wide variety of interest including sewing, bowling, music, gardening, collecting and travel. Most of all, Dorothy cherished time spent with her family and friends.  

  Dorthy is survived by her son, Paul Noe, Jr. of Benbrook; daughters-in-law, Monta Noe and Lisa Panevics; grandchildren, Aimee Cutter, Jacob Paul, Jennifer, Jessica, Johnathan, and Charlie Robert; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne T. Thompson, Rev. H. Donald Thompson; and by her sister, Kathlyn Densmore.  

  In addition to her parents, Dorthy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Noe, Sr.; sons, Charlie Randolph (Chuck) and Robin Allen; and by her sister, Nellie Jane Carter.  

  A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. 

  Funeral to be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 18, 2016, also at Galbreaith Pickard. 
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, in Weatherford, Texas.
