Doris Marie Minshew, 80, of Perrin, died Monday, December 18, 2007, at her residence. Born October 6, 1927, in Cisco, Texas, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Doris was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Downey and Eva Simpson; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Jo and Joel Paul King; and her brothers and sister-in-law, Dewaine and Louise Simpson and Weldon Simpson.
Doris is survived by her husband, Joe Hardy Minshew of Perrin; granddaughter, Danielle King of Perrin; sisters, Bettie Jo Ohlen of Crowley and Nettie Jean Williams of Burleson.
Funeral service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2007, in Bethesda United Methodist Church, on FM 113 North of Garner, Texas. Interment will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Bro. Ken Bergeron and Bro. John Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
