Doris Marie Kachnovich

  Doris Marie Kachnovich, 85, of Boyd, died Sunday May 11, 2008, in a Weatherford nursing facility. Born August 18, 1822, in Snyder, Texas, she was a resident of Wise County for many years. Doris was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed cooking, camping, working in her flowerbeds, taking care of her grandchildren and loved her animals. 

  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Kachnovich, parents, daughter, Martha Rothel and a great grandson, Bobby Gene Rothel.     

  She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Evans and husband, Jackie of Boyd; son, Richard Kachnovich of Boyd; grandchildren, Marty Rothel, Terry Rothel, Jackie S. Evans, Tina Stogsdill, Keith Kachnovich, Dawn Gieger, and Mary Schmitt; nine great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

  Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in the Hilltop Family Church, in Springtown.
