Doris Ann (Sosebee) Lawson

  Doris Ann Lawson, 66, of Granbury, passed away on Thursday June 2, 2011 in a nursing facility in Glen Rose. Born July 25, 1944, to Monroe and Lola Mae Sosebee, in Weatherford Texas where she was raised and graduated from high school. Doris married Jesse J. Lawson March 7, 1981 and had lived in Granbury for the last nine years.

  Preceding her in death are her parents and a daughter, Rhonda Kay Strahan.

Survivors: husband, Jesse of Granbury; son, Micheal Hargis of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Cheryl Monrow and husband, Greg of Walnut Springs, Texas and Dana Hargis of Walnut Springs, Texas; step daughter, Kathy Moss and husband, Tracy of Granbury; 12 grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.

  Services will be held at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. with interment at the East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Sunday at the funeral home. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
