Dorcus “Granny” Louise Fowler, 86, passed away in Mineral Wells, Texas, on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Dorcus was born on January 4, 1936, on the family farm in Jacksboro, Texas, to Joy and Clara Fowler.
Dorcus is survived by her four children, Paul Joplin of South Hampton, New York, Jerry Joplin of Santa Clara, California, Terry Joplin of Riverhead, New York, and Belinda Joplin Nesmith of Weatherford, Texas; sibling, Jerry Fowler of Weatherford, Texas; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Joy and Clara Fowler; and siblings, Stella Rogers, Billy Fowler, and Bud Fowler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel Weatherford, 1826 N. Main St., Suite 100, Weatherford, Texas 76088.
