Dorain Aster Pennington

  Dorain Aster Pennington of Poolville, Texas, 70, passed away November 27, 2011 in Fort Worth.

  Mrs. Pennington was born May 11, 1941 in Clarendon, Texas, to Clyde and Ruby Ellis. She grew up in Parker County, Texas. In 1964 she married Clayton Pennington in Anson, Texas. She was a loving mother and a proud grandmother of five.

  Survivors include her husband, Clayton Pennington; daughters, Leona Bedwell and husband, Brete of Granbury and Pamela Robinson and husband, Tony of Santo; son, Fritz Pennington of Poolville; siblings, Fred Ellis, Jenell Crabb, Kay Hull, and Billie Stone; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

  Preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Ellis and siblings, Betty Bishop and Gordon Ellis.

  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  Services will be Wednesday, November 30th, at 2:00 p.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel to be followed by a brief graveside service at Lone Star Cemetery, outside of Poolville, Texas.
