Donald Rea Davis

  Donald Rea Davis, 82, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017. 

  Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday July 22, 2017, at Willow Park Baptist Church, with interment to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. 

  Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Willow Park Baptist. Memorials may be made to Cook Children’s Hospital. 

  Donald was born February 25, 1935, in Weatherford, to Henry and Rhoda Smith Davis. He was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church and was an accomplished home builder. Donald enjoyed raising cattle but the joy of his life was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

  He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy; children, Donna Dickinson, Cheryl Bullock and husband, David, Wendell Davis and wife, Donna, and Michael Davis, all of Weatherford; sister, Carolyn Ellis of Levelland and Mary Anderson of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren, Chance, Taylor, Boston, Bryant, Rea, Bryce, and Abby; and great grandchildren, Evelyn, Bryton, Riggins, Cooper, and Emery.
