Donald James Bergman

  Donald James Bergman, 92, of Weatherford, passed away January 27, 2021. Don was born February 8, 1928, in Kimball, Nebraska, to Carl and Minnie Bergman. 

  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cynthia, and their three children, David, Martha and Stephen, as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Bergman of Weatherford, Kathy Norling of Denver, Colorado, and Jack Bergman of Wilmington, North Carolina, and his brother-in-law, Michael Patrick. 

  Don was an insurance agent in Weatherford for many years. He was active in many civic affairs and recognized as Weatherford’s Outstanding Citizen in 1975.
