Don S. "Peanut" Morgan

  Don S. “Peanut” Morgan, 72, of Weatherford passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. Don was born April 6, 1939, in Weatherford, to Anna Thelma and Albert Melvin Morgan. He was a lifelong resident of Parker County.

  Don was a lineman for the City of Weatherford Electric Company. He retired and took up golfing.

  His wife, Elwanda Jean Morgan, preceded him in death.

  Survivors include his sons, Troy Don Morgan and Monty Allen Morgan, both of Weatherford; sisters, Lawanda Bauer of Colorado, Jo Ann Daily and husband, Bill of Loving Texas, and Sandy Mooney and husband, J.D. of Weatherford; brother, Bill Morgan and wife, Vera Fay, also of Weatherford; three grandchildren, Christopher, Candyce and Clorissa; and a great granddaughter, Kaylea Ann.

  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Memory Gardens.
