Paul Don Jones, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Don was born July 24, 1936, in Anna, Illinois, to Lester and Effie Treat Hott. He was a hard working man who dedicated his life to driving a truck. When Don was not working his job, he was most likely helping his family in their businesses.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and the love of his life, Patsy Jewel Wimberley. He is survived by his children, Terry Jones and wife Gale, Larry Jones and wife Shellie and Karen Jones; grandchildren, Josh, Jason, Gary, Sierra, Jeremiah and Josiah; as well as, 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A private family graveside will follow on Thursday.
