Dolores E. Ramirez, affectionately known as “Ama,” passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 75.
Born on December 7, 1950, Dolores lived a life marked by quiet strength, grace, and unwavering love for her family. She was the daughter of Lolo Galindo, Sr. and Juanita Galindo.
Dolores dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in home health as a caregiver. She served with compassion and humility, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a member of Trinity Bible Church.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Known lovingly as “Ama,” she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether gathered for celebrations or simple everyday moments, she created a space filled with warmth, laughter, and deep love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she nurtured and cherished.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Lolo Galindo, Sr. and Juanita Galindo; her beloved son, Arthur Ramirez; and her former husband of 31 years, Isidro C. Ramirez, with whom she shared many years and cherished memories.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Draper and her husband Cody of Weatherford, Texas, and Paula Sanchez and her husband Rafael of Weatherford, Texas. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Tyler Ramirez and wife Lindsey, Bethanie Bailey and husband Eric, Seth Sanchez and wife Ami, Brianna Cowan and husband Jedd, Saul Sanchez, and Chelsea Draper-McMillan and husband Jeffrey. She was deeply devoted to her great-grandchildren, Eric Gonzales, Berklie Bailey, Charlee Ramirez, Artlee Ramirez, Honey Sanchez, and Zayden Sanchez — each of whom brought her immense joy.
Dolores is also survived by her eight siblings: Linda Thacker, Nancy Gutierrez, Evon Vasquez, Liza Garcia, Lupe Galindo, Lolo Galindo, Jr., Manuel Galindo, and Judy Hernandez, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Those wishing to honor and remember Dolores will gather for a visitation on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, located at 4941 Interstate 20 Frontage Rd, Willow Park, Texas 76087.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Bible Church, located at 4936 Interstate 20 Frontage Road, Willow Park, Texas 76087. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the PKD Foundation, in honor of Dolores Ramirez and her memory.
As we gather to celebrate her life, we honor her enduring spirit and the lasting impressions she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
