  Debra Faye Nichols, age 74, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Debra was born on April 12, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Norman Murphy and Betty Jo (Baker) Murphy.

  Debra was a devoted homemaker who dedicated herself to her family. After her children graduated from high school, she began working in online exchange customer service for Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES). Following her retirement, Debra enjoyed spending time with her family and indulging in her love of reading.

  Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Betty Jo Murphy.

  Debra is survived by her daughter, Robin Rodriguez and her husband, Michael; son, Gary “Allen” Nichols and his wife, Cristine; grandsons, Jackson Rodriguez and Christian Rodriguez; sister, Norma McConaghy and her husband, Michael; niece, Michelle McConaghy; and nephew, Matthew McConaghy.

  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Annetta Cemetery, located at 2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, Texas 76008.
