Deborah Ruth Jurek

 Deborah Ruth Jurek, passed away on January 17, 2026, in Weatherford, Texas, at the age of 72.

 Deborah was born on June 9, 1953, in Weatherford, Texas, to Thurman Rowell and Twila Ruth Alford. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1972.

 Deborah was married to her beloved husband, Jay Jurek, for 45 years. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and devotion. She was a proud mother to twin sons, Jesse and Jason, and later found immense joy in her role as “Darlin” to her three cherished granddaughters.

 She spent many years working as a hairstylist before dedicating herself fully to her home and family. Deborah had a heart for nurturing others and found happiness in the simple joys of life. She loved gardening, home cooking, crafting, shopping, and was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley. A Dr Pepper was never far from her reach. She especially adored her dog, Gracie, and delighted in taking her along on trips to Walmart.

 Above all, Deborah treasured time spent with her granddaughters, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth that will be carried on for generations.

 Deborah is survived by her husband, Jay Jurek; her sons, Jesse Jurek and wife, Lauren, and Jason Jurek and Tara; her granddaughters, Jayci, Jocelyn, and Jessie; her brother, Francis Rowell; and many other beloved family members and cousins.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Rowell and Twila Ruth Alford, as well as many cherished uncles and cousins.
