Deborah “Debbi” Williams
1958-2026
Deborah “Debbi” Williams, age 68, passed from this life on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Debbi was born on April 2, 1958, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to Robert Fisher and Jean (Burkett) Fisher, and was raised in Bolivar. She later married the love of her life, Brien Williams, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage.
Debbi was a “jack of all trades” who loved watching the Houston Astros, stargazing and astrophotography, and making stained glass. In addition to her many talents, Debbi was a gifted writer who found joy in sharing stories and ideas through the books she authored. She was always ready to share a story, joke, or a hot chocolate chip cookie.
Above all, Debbi loved the Lord. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to share His love and the hope of the Gospel with others. Through her words, prayers, and daily example, she pointed many people toward God's grace and faithfully lived out the command to love others.
Debbi was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean Fisher.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Brien Williams of Aledo; her daughters, Lauren Maskelony and husband Phillip, and Elizabeth Garcia and husband John Richard; her grandson, Peter Maskelony, and three granddaughters, Charlotte Garcia, Emily Garcia, and Lucy Garcia; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Though her absence leaves an emptiness in our hearts, we rejoice in the promise found in Jesus Christ and take comfort knowing that Debbi has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Her legacy of faith, love, generosity, and joy will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at The Church at the Crossing in Aledo.
