David Henderson

David Henderson, 64, of Palo Pinto, passed away peacefully Monday, March 20, 2023, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Fellowship at Weatherford with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

David was born April 29, 1958, in Weatherford, to Louis and Billie Mae Henderson. He had an unparalleled work ethic and held many jobs during his life. None made him prouder than working as a corrections officer for Palo Pinto County. David was a man of unwavering faith who loved God, guns, and our country, but most important to him was his family whom he loved selflessly and unconditionally.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Freida Henderson; his brother, Loren Henderson; and his nephew, Luke Haynes. He is survived by his wife, Lori Henderson; his children, Angela Dennis and husband, Jason, Jenny Nix and husband, Gary, Nathan Henderson and partner, Heber Robles; his grandchildren, Justin, Jaleigh, and Jadie Bennett and Chelsie Elliott; his siblings, Ronnie Henderson and wife, Vernette, Danny Henderson, Larry Henderson and wife, Connie, Kristy Smith and husband, Shane, and Donna Moss and husband, Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless other family and friends.
