David Gillman Loar, 65, of Weatherford passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. Funeral: 1 p.m, Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Kenneth Laird officiating. Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
David was born July 18, 1952 in Elmira, New York to Harry and Theresa Cornell Loar. He was a member of Centerpoint Church of God. David was retired law enforcement and was a private security officer for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steven Loar.
David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen; sons, Brian Loar of Weatherford and Michael Loar of Saginaw; brother, Kenneth Loar of Fort Worth; and grandchildren, Brianna, Brogan, Bradley and Matthew.
