Darwin Maurice George

  Darwin Maurice George, age 53, of Allen, died Saturday, January 4, 2014. Darwin was born July 31, 1960, in Weatherford, Texas, to Raymond and Betty George. He was owner of Computer Connect Plus Inc., Polka Dots Mens Apparel, VIP Shuttle Services, member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, board member of Richardson YMCA, helped with the Plano Community Outreach, member of Richardson Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, was involved with the Dallas Autism Walk and a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Brotherhood.

  Survivors include: wife, Rosalind George of Allen; daughter, Victoria George of Fort Worth; grandson, Torian; father, Raymond George of Weatherford; sisters, Rosiland George of Mineral Wells, Andrea Carrington of Seagoville, and Jennifer Williams of Aledo; brother, Anthony George of Brandywine, Maryland, and Scotty George of White Settlement.

  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014, at North Side Baptist Church. Interment in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday.
