Darlene Reddell, 63, of Hico, went to live with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 28, 2008. Darlene was born November 28, 1944, in West Texas, to Cecil Allen and Geneva Powell. A former resident of Weatherford and 30 year resident of Granbury, she attended Claret Baptist Church and the Church of Christ in Granbury.
Darlene was a loving, caring and giving Christian who loved children and animals. She enjoyed making ceramics and dolls and giving them to family and friends.
Her parents and a son, Roy, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Sammy; daughter, Renee Montanez and husband, Chris; sons, Paul Reddell and wife, Kacheina, Gilbert Taylor and wife, Gidget, and Bobby Johnson and wife, Amy; sisters, Ora Mae Bedford and husband, Howard and Allene Carter and husband, Fred; brother, Roy Powell and wife, Mary Bob; and grandchildren, Roy, Clay, Briar, Daylen, Saeige, Dallas, Sarah, Bobby Wayne, Cindy, and Tillman.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Memory Gardens.
