Darlene Campbell Woodle

  Darlene Campbell Woodle, 82, of Weatherford, passed away early Monday, September 17, in Weatherford.

  A Graveside Service Funeral celebrating her life will be held Thursday, September 20, 11:00 a.m., at the Willow Springs Cemetery, on Mikus Road in Willow Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, at 913 N. Elm Street in Weatherford.

  Darlene was born on December 17, 1935, in Weatherford, to Johnnie Campbell and Helen Dixon-Hill. She enjoyed following both the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. Most of all, Darlene enjoyed “being a momma” and will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and mother.

  Darlene is survived by her children, Amy Woodle, of Weatherford, and Hud Woodle, of New York City; as well as several nieces and nephews.

  Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Campbell and Helen Dixon Hill, and by her sister, Beatrice Faye Moore.
