Danny Joe Lee

  Danny Joe Lee passed away January 7, 2019, at 82 years of age, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

  Danny was born in Farmersville, Texas, on February 5, 1936, to Leonard and Pauline Lee. His working life was spent in the construction field, first with the Corps of Engineers and later as owner of a surveying company and a commercial general contracting company in the Fort Worth area. In retirement, Danny and his wife Kathy spent many wonderful times in Danny’s beloved Rocky Mountains and traveling the west and Alaska and enjoying their home on Lake Weatherford. He was very active in the local community, known at one time as the “Mayor of Lake Weatherford.”

  Danny was preceded in death by step-sons, Gregory and Eric. In addition to Kathy, he is survived by his son, Russell (Kim); granddaughters, Taylor Jones and Amerita Jones; great grandson, Remington Fellows and daughter-in-law, Gwen Jones.
