Curtis B. McKee, age 87, passed from this life Sunday, September 4, 2022. Curtis was born in March of 1935 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Berna and Julie Grouns McKee. He joined the Navy at age 17, fighting on behalf of the United States defending South Korea. After four years in the Navy, he joined the Air Force in April 1956 and traveled the world until he retired in 1975 after 23 years of service. Upon retirement, he continued to serve his country and community as a high school Air Force Junior ROTC instructor. After his second retirement, he enjoyed time with his family and friends, traveling, fishing, home projects and going to church. Curtis also enjoyed watching the News, following the Stock Market and shopping on Amazon. He was active in American Legion, Elks Lodge, and the Missleer Group.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gene McKee, and Greg McKee

Curtis is survived by his Wife of 66 years Sandra McKee of Weatherford, daughters Becky Klein (Darrel) of Weatherford, Cynthia Simpson (Lance) of Hudson Oaks and sons, Kyle McKee (Theresa) of Willow Park, Curtis McKee, Jr. (Maria) of Dallas, GA, Brother, Edgar McKee of IN. He has 13 Grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral Ceremony 11:30 am. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Hudson Oaks, Texas.
