Cummins Leroy Hallmark, Jr. (C.L.), 87, of Willow Park, passed away on June 12, 2026, at an Arlington hospital.
C.L. was born July 7, 1938, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He worked for Conoco Inc. in Ponca City, Oklahoma, for many years before retiring and moving to Texas.
He loved to be in his shop woodworking, where he found joy in crafting furniture and other creations. His passion for building was evident in every piece he crafted, each one a testament to his dedication and artistry.
A man of deep faith, C.L. dedicated himself to his relationship with God and was an active member of his church community, Parker County Cowboy Church. He loved being a part of the Chuck Wagon crew and would tell stories of his adventures.
He is survived by daughters, Cari Hallmark of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Connie Noel; son-in-law, Lonnie of Benbrook; granddaughter, Kasey Taylor and husband Lane, of Aledo; and four great grandchildren, Bryleigh, Luke, Charleigh, and Lawson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Shirley J. Connelly Hallmark; parents, C.L. and Lola Hallmark, Sr.; siblings: Elmo Hallmark, Mildred Louise LeClair, and Ann Greer.
Memorial services will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford as a private family ceremony.
