Cody John Zimmerman

  Cody John Zimmerman, age 30, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. 

  Born on September 6, 1994, to Scott and Kimberly Zimmerman, Cody grew up with a strong sense of patriotism and pride in his country. As a young man, he participated in ROTC during high school, where he enjoyed the structure and leadership development the program offered. Cody loved to display the American flag and was deeply proud to be an American. 

  He built a career in the food service industry, beginning with Pearland I.S.D. and most recently working for R&K Restaurant in Hudson Oaks. Cody was a devoted sports fan - he cheered on the Houston Astros and Houston Rockets and was an avid NASCAR enthusiast who enjoyed attending many of the races. 

  Cody also had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time at the ranch, especially riding four-wheelers. More than anything, Cody loved his family and held a special place in his heart for his grandparents. 

  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Arnold; paternal grandfather, Val Zimmerman; and paternal grandmother, Nadine Tindell. 

  Cody is survived by his loving parents, Scott and Kimberly Zimmerman of Aledo, Texas; maternal grandmother, Joyce Arnold of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters; one brother; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.
