Clifford Lee Dobbs

  Clifford Lee Dobbs, 71, of Weatherford, died Monday, May 21, 2007, in a local nursing center.  Born July 26, 1935 in Midlothian, Texas, he was a resident of Weatherford for many years.  

  Clifford was a retired Master Sgt having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was former owner of Mark Investigations and Security, retired from Weatherford College and a member of the Church of Christ. 

  One son, Richard Dean Dobbs precedes him in death.  

  Survivors: wife, Barbara Dobbs of Weatherford; sons, Ronald Dobbs and wife, Janeen of Millsap, Jim Dobbs and wife, Judy of Weatherford, Charles Dobbs of Arlington, and Skylar Dobbs of Weatherford; one grandchild; sisters, Mildred Gentry of Italy, Texas, and Carolyn Skelton of Grand Prairie.  

  Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., in the Annetta Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
