Clifford Demont Nored

Clifford DeMont Nored passed from this life on July 8, 2023. Clifford was born January 30, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas to Hollis and Billie Nored. Clifford spent half of his life in Benbrook and 33 years in Poolville. He LOVED the farm. He was known as “The Minnowman.” While in Poolville, he got into raising and showing cattle. Clifford never met a stranger. He was always known for his smile and his black cowboy hat.

He leaves many loved ones to cherish and carry on his memory: his wife of 37+ years, Lynda Nored, who was the love of his life; three children, Michelle Nored and Arthur of Fort Worth, James Nored and Rochelle of Fort Worth, and Justin Nored and Jessica of Poolville; brother, Jimmy Nored and Bonita Strawn of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his Nannie, Florine Dickinson.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with burial immediately following at Poolville Cemetery.
