Cleo E. Bourdon McConkey, 96, of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in a local nursing home. Cleo was born November 29, 1911, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Glen Edward and Fannie Oliver Bourdon. Mrs. McConkey was a Baptist. She enjoyed cooking, walking and being outdoors.
Her husband, John McConkey; four brothers; and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Pauline Bourdon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Spring Creek Cemetery, south of Weatherford.
