Clara M. Edwards

  Clara M. Edwards, of Weatherford, born Nov. 14, 1930, took leave of this world, for her heavenly home, on Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was 87 years old.

  Funeral services will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, with burial to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery. Reverend Micheal Edwards will officiate. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

  She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Leo Edwards; her son, Reverend Micheal Edwards of Granbury; daughter, Linda Turney; and son, Larry Edwards, both of Weatherford. She is also survived by Pat Claunch of New Mexico; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Ruth Pinson; brother, Bob Pinson; and sisters, Bernice Baker and Edith Stembridge.
