Christopher (Chris) Kyle Whitlock

  Christopher (Chris) Kyle Whitlock went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 14, 2026 at age 49. Chris was born February 16, 1977 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Cary Whitlock and Kelle (Brown) Whitlock. He enjoyed playing all sports in his younger years and later intently watching as a pastime with friends. He graduated from Desoto, Texas High School in 1995.

  A man of diverse talents and interests, during his career, Chris was employed in retail pharmacy, banking, call center support and most recently in the warehousing sector. He preferred setting his own standards and following an unconventional path, always choosing to live life in his own way. Chris enjoyed learning how things work and exploring the ideas that captured his curiosity.

  Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Kelle K. Whitlock.

  Left to carry on his legacy are his two sons, Joshua C. Whitlock and Jaxon R. Whitlock; his father, Cary Lee Whitlock, all of Graford, Texas; and his brother, Cory Whitlock.

  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at The Harbor Chapel at Possum Kingdom, located at 250 Harbor Way, Graford, Texas 76449.
