Christian Robert Wehres, Jr., 80, of Springtown, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in the local hospital. Born January 14, 1927, in Fort Worth, Texas, a resident of Springtown for several years, he was a retired switchman for the Railroad, member of the Baptist Church and he was a World War II Army Veteran. Mr. Wehres was a music lover and an extensive collections of albums, 45’s and other media.
Survivors: daughter, Cheryl Moore of Texarkana; sons, Gary Wehres of Weatherford and Terry Wehres of Springtown; ex-wife, Joanne Wehres of Waxahachie; and numerous grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a latter date.
