Chloe Ann McClure

Chloe Ann McClure joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 31, 2023, at Windsor Court Senior Living Center in Weatherford, Texas. Chloe was 82 years old. She is survived by her sons: Todd McClure and wife, Missy; Scot McClure and wife, Stephanie; Darryn McClure and wife, Cameron; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Darrell McClure and her parents.

Born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Stella Chloe Woods McVey and William Martin McVey on February 14, 1941.

Graduated Verden, Oklahoma High School in 1959. Graduated Texas Tech University in 1963 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

Taught elementary education for over 30 years in the following school districts: Plainview ISD, Alvarado ISD and Joshua ISD.

Other areas of service include: Served in various Baptist Churches as part-time pianist and Sunday school teacher. Member of the First Baptist Church of Crowley, Texas, since 1974.

Chloe was a devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a friend to all and a generous heart for those in need. Chloe had a servant heart and was willing to help others at any time. She was a gracious host and opened her home to countless church related fellowships and gatherings. She enjoyed cooking outrageously large meals that could serve three times as many folks in attendance. She loved cooking, baking, serving, arts and crafts, painting, antiquing, sewing, decorating and all her pets over the years (dogs, cats, donkeys, and other animals).

A private memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Chloe requested donations be sent to support Grace House Ministries in Weatherford, Texas.
