Charles Wayne Browne

  Charles Wayne Browne, 65, departed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Charles was born July 9, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to Jack W. Browne and Lydia F. Browne.

  Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Browne of Weatherford, Texas; son, Marshall Browne of Granbury, Texas; son, Mark English of Wister, Oklahoma; son, Michael Browne of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Brayden English, Devin Lujan, and Darien Lujan; brothers, Jack Browne of Wichita Falls, Texas, and James Browne of Maypearl, Texas.

  Charles worked as a truck driver for Bozeman Trucking. Although he was on the road often, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Charles will be remembered for his sacrifice and his effort to make his goals a reality. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
