Charles Lawton Smith

Charles Lawton Smith, born on November 12, 1942, to Skeet and Margaret Smith, passed away March 25, 2024. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Eula M. McKenzie Smith, whom he married in March of 1964. Together they raised a son, Troy D. Smith of Granbury, Texas, who is married to Teresa. Charles also cherished his relationship with three daughters from a previous marriage in Spokane, Washington: Mandy, Sandy, and Cindy. His legacy lives on through his three grandchildren, Megan, Justin, and Chris; as well as his three great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Phoenix, and Raelynn.
 
Charles will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Eula Smith, and devoted son, Troy Smith, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
 
A graveside service to honor the life of Charles Lawton Smith will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Center Point Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas. The service will be officiated by Greg McKenzie.
