Charlene Marie Bowers

 Charlene Bowers, 71, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 24, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1954, in Van Nuys, California, to George and Veronica Pegg.

 Charlene was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dedicated homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with them, enjoyed sharing ice cream with those she loved, and held a deep personal faith in God that brought her comfort throughout her life. She was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church, and one of her greatest sources of strength was the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13), which she kept close to her heart. One of her favorite childhood memories was winning first place for making a toy sailboat and racing it across the water. She will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering love, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.

 Charlene is survived by her beloved husband, George Bowers; her children, Rachel Bowers, Brandon Bowers and his wife Kristeen, and Christal Campbell; her siblings, Georgann Aleksic, Donna Abernathy, and Franklin Bishop; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Lyla, Kaydance, Karson, Konner, Kendall, Karter, Savanah, Jacob, Amanda, Thomas, and Ethan; and her great-grandchildren, Kyrie, Macy, Asher, Sebastian, Elijah, Penelope, Jaxson, and Emma.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Veronica Pegg, and her brother, Mark Pegg.

 Charlene’s legacy of compassion, faith, and unconditional love will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will be treasured forever.
